Jolly Skyscrappers!
I think this is a rather jolly sort of painting It has really got to be of a image of New York.
The neaon sign of the shoe is a idea from a photo of somewhere elsetwo ideas colliding making a painting!

Portsmouth DLR
It was with some sadness that last week I heard that the Portsmouth Office of the Land Registry is to close with the loss of about 299 jobs, I still have friends who work there and so feel sad for them. I also would like to say how sorry I am to all the x colleagues who are still comming to terms with the news.
The office is due to close in 2011 along with other offices in the south- east like Tunbridege Wells for instance. all these place have a history and expertise yes and community.
So I would just like to take this oppurtunity to wish my ex colleagues well for the future.

on the shore,
the senses alert to touch and feel. The salty smell of the sea
a breeze picks up then dies away.natures place

Centering
I like it when the tise is either just on the way ou or on the way back in between time.
Then as this is a special place it happen, very subtle a moment of calm, the universe speaks and you are now, a shimmer a part of nature and of now.
This happend all to briefly yesterday at this special place for me it is quick though a sort of leveling out, it probably lasts now more than 60 seconds
Hope this makes sense to anyone who may read this!

Peering Through
The first shot is of Warblington Castle across the fields followed by Warblington Church from about the same vantage point.
The last should really belong to my urban series of photos of everday but his post is about a theme of peering through it fits in, Ilke chain fences lots!

Itroducing Curve Cards
I painted them on mini playing cards some of the playing card is still showing through so it becomes a bit of a oollage.Think the idea works though the series is not about playing cards as such just the patterns the combination can make
